Nutritional therapy may be key to stopping autism | Fox News.

I have heard about NAET therapy before. I would not call it a “nutritional therapy.” But I feel pretty ambivalent about the treatment, since it depends upon the idea of allergies to substances that disrupt the body’s energy flows. In that sense it is more like non-western therapies. There are books that describe the protocol available on Amazon; just search for NAET. The therapy can be expensive, but there are also protocols available for doing it yourself with your autistic kids. NAET, like many eastern medicine techniques, claims to be able to cure allergies, asthma, autism, arthritis, and a host of other conditions. I chose not to go this route with Rob, but I’m open to reconsidering it if research actually shows it to be effective.
